Pastorate this Tuesday (3 April)

Hola!

Pastorate this Tuesday (3 April)

... is in the Crypt, at 7.15 as usual.

Why don't you come with the aim of blessing others and willing to tell some stories of what God has been doing in your life recently?

Simon and Ruth's group are being lovely and cooking for us.

Welcoming and Prayer this Sunday morning

If you're interested, turn up at 10am at church. Sarah Jutsum is organising with Simon so if you have any questions, email her.

Sunday social

Greeting pastorites, last Sunday was mothers day and we missed out on our sunday social.
But fear not, for this sunday we have a pastorate walk planned (groovy).

The walk is from this handy web page:
http://website.lineone.net/~stkittsnevis/bristol.htm#4

With most people thinking of slavery, we'll have a look at some of Bristol's past.
Starting from the Industrial Museum, we'll walk to the Ostrich pub (where we can have a nice lunch), and then think about the rest of the walk.

Pub this Tuesday

"Large and recently refurbished single bar pub tucked away at the back of St Michael's Hill. The L-shaped bar serves an upmarket red-carpeted drinking area with a small raised corral in one corner and slate floor by the bar. "

Pastorate this Tuesday (20 March) is a social at the King's Arms Pub - we'll gather there from 8pm.

Do bring your mates - we tried to book some pub skittle action but to no avail - if anyone knows of a central-ish pub that has a skittles alley let us know!
Click for Map
(It's on Little Paul Street - kind of behind Somerfield - text or ring if you get lost!)

Stuff going on this week...

Don't forget, pastorate this Tuesday (6 March). 7.15 in the Crypt.

Tom & Emily's group are cooking.

Welcoming and Prayer this Sunday!

We're also doing welcoming and prayer ministry this Sunday morning at Woodies Central. If you haven't been before, do turn up at 10am and lend a hand. It's always a good laugh and vital to making church work well. If you're nervous about praying for others just latch on to someone else and learn from them - you won't regret it! Contact Amy for more info or just turn up.

'A Spirit filled life', this Saturday
See blog for details - see Steve Wray. 11 am - 4pm. Should be well worth a look in.

I (Sam) won't be around this next week as I'm partying it hard on holiday (well I'll probably be being silent in a monastery somewhere near Bath actually). Have a good one.
